I just read on Kinman's Website that Scott is using his pickups. Would anybody know if he's using three Avn-56's (including one in the bridge position) or the set with the Avn-62 in the bridge? Scott has stated in the past that he uses the same type of pickup in all three position, but that may only have been for the Suhrs or the Dimarzios.

From the description of the new AVn56 on Kinman's website:

"Some great guitar players, like Scott Henderson, are now beginning to discover the magic of my re-designed AVn-56 and AVn-62b that are the pickups in my AVn-Traditional Mk-II set. (Scott uses 3 x AVn-56 because he likes all 3 pickups the same. )"

I got the Kinman AVN Traditionals MkII set last year sometime. I'm lucky enough to live about 20 minutes away from Chris Kinmans factory, so I got to hear all his pickups back to back. They are all great, but the MkII's seemed the best for me. Chris even installed them for me the same day!

I'm really happy that Scott uses them now. I've certainly never heard better single coil pickups.
