It was an absolute pleasure to have Tomo over at Tone Merchants performing a both very entertaining and informative clinic with some remarkably tasteful playing encompassing blues, jazz, funk and fusion. Tomo is a charismatic teacher and communicator as well as an engaging and confident performer. The turnout was quite good considering what this event was all about - an educational clinic with some musical performances thrown in to reinforce the information that Tomo shared with the audience. Tomo is even more charming in person than via communicating on the forums and email - a lovely fellow who genuinely cares about music and sharing his enthusiasm with the guitar community. Tomo's combination of incredible funky rhythm, always toneful and tasteful phrasing, attention to subtle nuances and accomplished chops makes him a joy to watch and listen to. We really enjoyed having him over and look forward to having him perform with a live band the next time around!Cool

BTW, Tomo's tone with a Fuchs ODS50 through a Bogner 2x12 and a little pedalboard rig sounded absolutely righteous - from spanky funky rhythm to fat bluesy overdrive lead tones.

Thanks, Tomo! More about Tomo here for those who are not familiar:
