Hello Scott,

My name is Franky (François) (www.apm-livemusic.com/francoisalba). And you meet me between 1989 and 1996. Also, I was one of your students at the M.I.

First of all, sorry for my "Kid" English writing cause I leave in Geneva.

To remember you who I am, I graduate M.I. with honors in 1991 (1989-1991). I took open counseling with you and Joe Diorio. I am still your fan and you're still my best guitar player right before Steve Ray Vaughan.

I don’t know if you remember me and my brother Pascal bass we come from Switzerland. Pascal is a bass player who graduated M.I. with honors in the same time than me Gary Willis as open counseling Teacher.
We've been following you in some of your concerts in Switzerland, San Francisco and Los Angeles with my brother and had good time in the back stage after the concert.
I still love being musician / guitar teacher and still fight with life to keep that status even if most of the time you eat pasta without tomato's sauce!

Since 1991, I've been fighting also with my gear. Plus living in Geneva, it's just impossible to get the right equipments' cause very hard and very little musical business here. Very difficult to find specialist like in L.A. to built your guitar system.
So I always did it myself and sometimes I believe I'm more a guitar system technician than a guitar player without forgetting that it's never works right! Buying and selling also became a boring and expensive activity!

Last past year I had surgery on my both hands and they just fuck up them. So now, I am spending very hard time to keep playing because it's hurt a lot when I play concerts.
So I had to stop playing live until next summer time since last summer time.
Until then, I give class, I have to learn to play with less technique and I rebuild a right system that doesn't craps!
I don't want to mess around with gear any more. I really have to play with confidence on my system sound. Also, I feed up about seller who always tells that what he's selling you is the "best equipment in the world"!

I play kind of the stuff that you play and love all your music.
So my question is:
S.O.S., could you help me by advising what I really need to build my last system with the equipments I own already, the equipments I'll need, through away the equipments I own that sucks! By checking if possible, my system diagram maybe.
Now I'm able to build cables and wired myself, to plug equipments together. I learned to do it with the past year…

I wish to see you again one day on concert in Switzerland and have a beer with you.
