Is there anywhere to get live recordings of Tribal Tech? I have a video from '92 that is tremendous (someone gave it to me), but I'd love to have CD recordings. There used to be some stuff on Napster before that went "illicit," but I don't want to go to jail or get sued, I'd just like to listen to live versions of those tunes. As a side bar...are those double-screw Duncan '59 pickups around anywhere for sale? |

Hi Jbear,
Welcome to the board.I think that the trembucker spaced Duncan '59s are double-screw.Model is TB-1.Not 100% sure, though.

Duncan offers a custom-wound 59 pickup with screws for the slugpoles. Gotta be careful when adjusting them though. To much screwing can screwup your tone! Take it from me! I'm currently digging the Suhr SSV's and that vintage honk, and they are honky, but still have the Duncan 59 in the neck of an Ibanez. But you can really fine-tune your guitar with the double screw pole pieces. Key is getting consistant sounding strings, like stick to one brand, in my case, GHS Boomers 11's tuned to Eflat, 010's tuned normally, then move on to the pickup adjustment. I can see why Scott prefers them. Major tone tweaker!! _________________ WTB: |

Hi wintomato,
Unfortunately, there are no officially released TT videos or DVDs.However, there are a lot of bootleg vids circulating out there.Everybody here is holding his breath for and official DVD realease either from Scott's blues trio or TT.
