I can't remember off the top of my head what kind of pups Scott is using nowadays, but there isn't such a thing as a "neck" pickup. A pickup will get a different sound depending on the placement, but that doesn't mean that you can't experiment with the same pickups in different positions! _________________ Current obsessions:

Check out the Ask Scott Stickys though. I'm sure he's answered some questions about what pickups he's using now. _________________ Current obsessions:

If I'm not mistaken Scott is using mostly Suhr FL standard pickups these days and they are all the same "neck" pickup. (The bridge is "not hot"). Check out this link:

Coppied from the front page of his site.
The Scott Henderson model is a classic with an alder body, maple/Indian rosewood neck, 6100 frets, Sperzel locking tuners, three single coil V60LP pickups (no hot bridge, all pickups are the same), the SSC noiseless system, and a Fender Vintage bridge. Scott's guitar wiring: tone 1 controls the neck and middle pickup, tone 2 controls the bridge pickup, and the tone controls are bypassed in the 2 and 4 positions.
Scott's strings are D'Addario 11's tuned to Eb and he uses Fender Heavy picks. _________________ BLANK |

that one is old, scott is using FL standard, al are the same, no hot PU
based on his answers he has 5 guitars
no 1 and no 2 use FL standard the difference is that one is tuned to Eb (this is his main guitar), the other use std tuning
no 3 has a humbucker (dont ask me which type)
he didnt say anything about no 4 and 5 as far as i remember |
