Hello Scott,
first of all let me thank you for such a great availability.
I saw you with Tribal Tech on the last July during an enthusiastic gig in Umbria, Italy.
Few people, but great concert!
After the session I bought from your hands the Well To the Bone CD and I can't yet stop listening to it.
I have a great curiosity about that CD. Your sound, as usual, is a really killer sound covering all the typical strat sound colors I prefer and I was wondering about the guitar set-up you were using on the Well To the Bone session.
Was it equipped with the standard FL Suhr pick ups or any other set?
Thank you very much,
Vmiles

My main guitar was a Suhr with V60LP pickups. I like them for recording because I think they sound better with my closed back 4x12 than the ML pickups (formerly called FL). I use ML pickups live.

Most of the solos were done with a TS-9 running into a Voodoo One using a Fender Bandmaster modded by Dumble, or a '72 Marshall. I used a 4x12 with Greenbacks, but sometimes I did a stereo setup using a 4x10 with Kendrick Blackframe speakers on the other side. The Ashes and Devil Boy solos are examples of that. Sometimes I used only the 4x10 with a DOD Overdrive 250 pedal, for example on the short solo sections of Devil Boy.
