Scott,
Have you ever played a Chapman Stick? I was wondering what your thoughts were about it and if you have ever tried one out. I saw someone not to long ago playing one and thought it was pretty interesting instrument. Have you ever played any other unusual stringed instruments? Know you are a big Phil DeGruy fan so how about wanting to try out his Guitarp? How about extra stringed instruments like Lenny Breau and Charlie Hunter played/play? I know you have said that you have a hard time chewing gum and walking but this would be up your alley as an established guitar player (how's that for stroking your ego!) Your thoughts............thanks. |

I wanted to get the six-string right before trying anything else, but it hasn't happened.
I'm amazed by those guys playing mega-string instruments - I'll just listen. |

| Check out Bob Culbertson. Friend of mine, plays it extremely well. I think he has recordings out. Another guy, Jim Bruno. These guys have been playing them for years..... |

Tony Levin...Liquid Tension Experiment.
Rudess, Portnoy, Petrucci, Levin playing some incredibly melodic prog rock stuff!!! HIGHLY recommended.
