I love 'Slidin' Into Charlisa'. Stellar composition and band performance.

Did you use a slide on this or were all the 'slide' effects done with the bar?

Also, that bit in your solo where you play a few notes with a 'straight' feel and Kirk responds by kicking into that second line/New Orleans-type groove - was that pre-arranged or did it just happen by chance in the studio? Whatever, it works a bloody treat...

That's real slide guitar, something I've never been very good at, but I guess good enough to play a melody. I remember the band sitting around for awhile because it took a few takes to get those lines in tune...

The arrangement was worked out, as most of the early Tribal Tech music was. The live version is a little more spontaneous feeling than the studio version in my opinion.
