Scott, I'm so glad to know that you're a Mr Trolololo fan just like me! Everytime I wake up and think my day is gonna be tough, I have a little Trolololo and I feel like I can conquer the world!
I didn't know the sexy sax man, he's great.
You once said that you may consider hiring some additional musician.I know you were thinking about a trumpeter, but what about the klaxonman?
To RobGLA : can you please tell us how it feels to teach Scott something?
PS : just to warn you
The idea is not mine, this is just something I read on FB : "What if Mexico and Canada both build walls and we all chip in for a lid?"
Well, it was not my idea at all, but to be honest, I replied that it would be fair that the US pay for the lid. |

Ah yes, the angriest guitar player in the world. I just love how more and more tape appears on his guitars as time goes on.
Kevin- posting links is a drop in the ocean compared to what I've learnt from Scott over the years with his Melodic Phrasing DVD, watching him play live and transcribing _________________ TrueFire Instructor

This otherworldly creature keeps haunting me and scarring me for life. His language is obviously alien, and the things he's playing on the drums is deeply disturbing. However, he's a hilarious guy and a fun hang, no matter what planet he's from. I think it's Texas.
Gergo's imitation of him is really good, but obviously he has too much time on his hands.
I'll ask Bruce to do a duet of Careless Whisper next time we get together to record some clips. I can't think of a better song for our lesbian relationship. |

When Kirk is in LA, please try to get him on the podcast. I enjoyed the Kinsey episodes (good to see that you guys remain friends). I almost shit myself when Kinsey jokingly suggested that you and Bruce are more than friends. Also, how about bringing in Alan and Travis? Get them drunk and let them talk shit about playing with you. Thanks!
PS Holdsworth gig in Venice in April to promote new compilation and choice cuts albums...

Definitely - Kirk would be a blast to have on the show. Already working on getting Travis, though Alan doesn't have much of a filter and will surely offend the one or two girls who listen to GuitarWank.
I'll try to make Allan's gig - I think I'm in town. |

Your kidding right? ha ha Alan would hate that and never speak to me again. We'd love to have him on the podcast though, but he lives far away. John Suhr will be a guest next month so we're looking forward to that, and Steve Lukather will be on when his schedule permits - hopefully soon. |

Allan doesn't call you back anyway I'm not saying show up at Alvas or Del Monte and record his performance. What I'm suggesting is, after the performance, hang out with him, drink a few beers, and let him promote his new records. Your podcast has an audience of 60K+. This is a free promotional opportunity targeting Allan's core audience--jazz-rock fusion fans. After issues with his pledge campaign this would be a perfect opportunity to reconnect with a large group of fans. This is not some Sony marketing asshole telling Allan to color is hair, put on a jacket, and strike a pose--it's hanging with friends, talking about life, and payback for helping on Dr. Hee
Anyway, can you get McLaughlin on the podcast in December? LOL |
