Hi Scott,
I buy your records, but I am curious about your thoughts on Spotify. Do you think it helps or hurts you as a recording artist? I only ask as I noticed that Vibe Station was on Spotify.

I'd like to think it helps, that's why I allowed my new record to be on Spotify. I believe there are still many people who want to listen to music without having to stream it. The quality of steaming is even worse than an mp3, and it can be inconvenient to need an external signal to hear your music. I hope that Spotify is more like a movie trailer, and if people like what they hear, they'll buy it from iTunes, or buy the CD if they want the best recording quality.
