No, I've never heard of him, but I looked him up - seems he does mostly high gain mods for rock bands. I'm more of a pedal guy and don't often use amp distortion only. In my opinion a lot of the Marshall mods sound like they were done for metal players who like that fizzy top end and tons of midrange.
