Hi Scot thanks for taking the time and answering our question, what a treat you are for all of us.

My question for you is, how you wiring the SE70 through a mixer and into the effect loop of your amp. I am trying but I can't figure it out.

Thank again I hope I will see you soon in Boston....

It's easy - go from the FX send of the amp to the input of the mixer, then from the output of the mixer to the FX return of the amp. If you have a volume pedal, go from the FX send of the amp to the pedal first, and out of the pedal into the input of the mixer.

Then go from the send on the mixer to the L input of the SE-70, and from the L output of the SE-70 to the return of the mixer. Set all the patches on the SE-70 to 100% wet, no direct signal.

Hi Scott thank you for taking your time and answer my questions.

Just wondering if you have ever try to use the Vocoder in the SE-70, I love how Zawinul used it here and there just to add more texture to the music.

Also in the SE-70 did you use chorus phase or flanger? If yes would you mind to share the settings?

Hope you have had fun in Italy

Thank ever so much
Sandro

I've tried the Vocoder in the SE-70, but couldn't make it sound like the real deal. I've also tried the chorus type FX and don't use them - pedals are much fatter and warmer sounding in my opinion.
