Hey Scott how do you feel about acoustic guitars? If you had no amp, no distortion, and have to play only acoustic for a week, will you go nuts?

I like acoustic guitar and I've recorded it on some of my records, but good tone on acoustic requires big strings and my fingers aren't up for that - it's something you have to do a lot to build strength in your hands. So, I only use it on recordings.

I'm a fan of Tommy Emmanuel and it's amazing to see him play live - what a huge sound he gets from his acoustic, and incredible chops too. With guys like that out there, I'll stick with my strat...
