For those of you who are Matt Schofield fans, as Robben is (RF had MS play with him at a venue in Europe recently), his new CD "Ear To The Ground" was just released and is available on iTunes.
Of all the young blues players, Schofield has a style very reminiscent of Robben's............very cool rhythm chops and similar phrasing & tone. And, a very "cool" voice!
And, if you haven't heard him play with his trio, do yourself a favor and check him out.......you will not be sorry! Great drummer & keyboard player!

sfhalo,

I couldn't agree with you more!

This CD just grows, and grows on you, and his playing and tone are just superb (and his band are great too!).

The CD has a nice assortment of blues based tracks, so the interest is kept. Probably my favourite CD for some time now.

Cheers,

DD
